Beta version review workshop of the e-Government ERP

A beta version review workshop of two modules prepared by the e-Government ERP project was held at the BCC Auditorium of ICT Tower.

The GRP (Government Resource Planning) software is being prepared under the Bangladesh e-Government ERP project to ensure transparency and accountability in the work of the Government Department.

A day long review workshop was organized at ICT Tower's BCC Auditorium, Agargaon, Dhaka on November 7 to receive beta version review and feedback of procurement and asset module of Bangladesh e-Government ERP project.

N M Ziaul Alam, Hon'ble Secretary of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, was present as the chief guest at the review workshop, chaired by Mr. Parthpuram Dev, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council. Project Director Dr. Ashok Kumar Roy spoke on the occasion and welcomed. GRP is a customized ERP solution for the government. The stakeholders of the GRP are need full cooperation in order to successfully customize it.  Parthpuram Dev called for stakeholder cooperation for speedy development of the project, and advised the development organization to customize GRP modules based on stakeholder feedback.

It is to be noted that under the Bangladesh e-Government ERP Pilot Project, a total of nine modules is being developed for the stakeholders. This GRP will be implemented in all ministries, departments and agencies of Bangladesh later in the phase. Heads of government departments and agencies, project stakeholders, BUET and project consultants, project developer organizations, representatives of various ministries, departments and agencies were present on the workshop.
