Director of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed has obtained PhD degree from the University of Dhaka, said a RAB press release on Thursday.
His research title was ’Contribution of Bangladesh UN Peace Keeping Force to Our National Economy’.
He obtained his masters degree from the English Department of the same university. He also obtained LLB and MBA later from the university. Benazir also obtained Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Banking and Insurgence Department of Dhaka University.
In his professional journey, the DG of RAB was awarded Bangladesh Police Medal, the highest award of Bangladesh Police.
He joined BCS Police Service in 7th BCS Batch. In his service, he worked as SP Kishoregonj,DC (North) of DMP, He is Adjunct Faculty Member, Department of Sociology, Dhaka University.
His overseas asssignments include United Nation’s Mission in Bosnia (UNMIBH). He was commander of Bangladesh Police Contingent in Kosovo.
