With the slogan “Promise of Mujib Barsho, a people oriented Police”, a beat policing program was inaugurated at Sarishabari upazila in Jamalpur on Monday noon.
The beat policing programme was inaugurated at Kamarabad Union Parishad premises by Sarishabari police to bring the police service to the forefront of public.
Sarishabari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abu Md. Fazlul Karim presided over the inauguration programme while Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Shah Shibli Sadiq spoke as the chief guest.
Kamrabad Union Parishad Chairman Mansur Rahman Khan, Union Awami League President Md. Rashedul Hasan, Upazila Juba League President AKM Ashraful Islam and local UP members and others were present at the time.
