BDU celebrates Saraswati Puja

Saraswati Puja was celebrated at Bangabandhu Digital University (BDU) in a festive atmosphere.

On Thursday, the traditional religious teachers and students of the university celebrated the day with various activities including worship, installation of idols and religious criticism.

On this occasion, Bani Archana started in front of the academic building of the university at Kaliakore, Gazipur at 09:00 am. After that, prasad was distributed around 12 noon. At this time, the students prayed to Goddess Saraswati for knowledge. Later, a lecture was held in front of the academic building.

Saraswati Puja was organized for the first time at BDU under the supervision of Suman Sahar, lecturer of Information and Communication Technology Department of the University.

Suman Saha said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. This is the first time we have been able to organize Saraswati Puja in BDU under the overall guidance of Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam. I express my thanks and appreciation to Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Sir for overall guidance and support in such a beautiful event. Teachers and students of all departments of the university were present at this time. It is to be mentioned that according to Sanatan religion, Saraswati is the goddess of learning. Basically Saraswati Puja is organized around her. This puja is organized on the fifth tithi of Shuklapaksha in the month of Magh.
