A career summit for apprentice doctors was held at Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College in Noakhali on Monday.
Noakhali chapter of Bangladesh Doctors' Foundation organised the career summit at the East Gallery of the Medical College, a press release said.
Speakers on the occasion said that this event had been organised for the new and apprentice doctors to decide their future plans and make specific decisions at the right time.
‘Those of you who sit here today and dream of the future must make plans before creating a professional position. Along with that, you have to strengthen your economic position,’ physician MA Noman, who addressed the programme as the chief guest, said.
Presided over by the chapter’s president Mahfuzur Rahman and moderated by its secretary general Mohammad Emran Hossain, physicians Abu Nasser, Mahbubur Rahman, DZahir Uddin Ahmed and Mohiuddin Humayun Kabir Chowdhury spoke the programme.
