BCL won’t tolerate disrespect towards PM

Bangladesh Chhatra league (BCL) acting central president Al Nahiyan Khan Joy on Thursday said that BCL won’t tolerate any further disrespectful behavior against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, if anyone show any kind of disrespectful conduct against Sheikh Hasina we will give stern punishment to the perpetrator.

He made this remarks at a student’s demonstration arranged by BCL at the premises of Raju sculpture at Dhaka University to burn effigy of BNP leader Shamsuzaman Dudu on Thursday noon. BCL president said, “we are working as vanguard of honorable prime minister Sheikh Hasina, if any one further shows any kind of objectionable activities against our leader we won’t tolerate anymore, we are ready to punish them sternly,”

Mentioning BNP as a group of conspirators, se said, “BNP leader Shamsuzzaman Dudu showed objectionable conduct by threatening to kill our PM. We want to say that no one can harm our leader as long as Bangladesh Chhatra league is alive, we will save her at any cost even by sacrificing our own lives.”

BCL acting central general secretary Lekhak Bhattarcharya urged all BCL units to file case against BNP vice chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu for giving life threat to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a live TV talk show recently. Later, BCL leader and activists burned effigy of BNP vice chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu.

Notably, Dudu recently at a talk show on DBC Television said Sheikh Hasina has to go like her father Sheikh Mujib, which is a clear life threat to the Prime Minister.
