BCL observes programmes to resist blockade called by BNP-Jamaat

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) observed various programmes on the campus and its adjacent areas in Sylhet to resist the blockade called by BNP-Jamaat.

Leaders and activists of SUST BCL took out a peace procession in front of Shahparan Hall of the university on Thursday (November 09). They also observed programmes on the campus on Friday. 

The Thursday’s procession paraded the main roads of the campus through the university gate and ended at the Sylhet Sunamganj highway and met at the rally.

Mamun Shah, vice-president of the Faculty of Social Sciences, said that the BNP had also set fire to the Jamaat rally. They killed the police. They attacked the judge's residence on October 28. Former deputy office secretary Sazibur Rahman said that a small group is trying to destroy the peaceful environment of the country by supporting the anti-independence forces of the country. They want to destroy the development and progress of the country under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the three-time successful Prime Minister of the current government.
