BCL holds doa mahfil for Mashrafe

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student body of ruling Awami League, arrange a doa mahfil in Narail on Saturday seeking early recovery of cricketer and MP Mashrafe bin Murtaza.After the Maghrib prayers on Saturday, Imam Maulana Rafiuddin led the prayers at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center under construction in the town.

Among others, district BCL president Chanchal Shahriar Meem, general secretary Rakibuzzaman Palash and other BCL leaders were present at the time.

In addition, Maulana Ishaq Hira, Muezzin Md Ismail Hossain and others were present. In this regard, the district BCL president Chanchal Shahriar Meem said, “We, the BCL family, are shocked and worried as the rising leader of the young generation of Bangladesh MP Mashrafe bin Murtaza has been infected with coronavirus. 

People of all walks of life including the people of Narail are deeply saddened and concerned.” He further said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working for the people of the country since the inception of coronavirus. 

“In that continuation, she has been serving the people of Narail by taking one exceptional initiative after another. We hope that by the grace of God, MP Mashrafe bin Murtaza will recover and return to us.”
