Chhatra League spearheaded a march and student rally in Bogura on Monday, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Organized by Shah Sultan College Chhatra League, the event stood in solidarity with global student movements and formed a pivotal component of the overarching campaign against atrocities. Commencing at 11 o'clock, the march began from the college premises, winding its way through Sherpur road before culminating in a rally within the campus.
District Chhatra League president Sajib Saha addressed the gathering as the chief guest, presided over by Atiqur Rahman Atiq, President of Shah Sultan College Chhatra League.
The keynote address was given by the District Chhatra League's General Secretary, Al Mahidul Islam Joy, with assistance from other notable figures, including Vice President of Shah Sultan College Chhatra League Uttam, former joint secretary Jamie Poddar, and joint general secretary Ahsan Ghalib Plaban.
Echoing the sentiments of the assembly, speakers vehemently condemned the relentless onslaught against innocent Palestinians, urging global intervention to curb Israel's atrocities. The movement affirmed solidarity with the oppressed, demanding justice and accountability for the genocide perpetrated by Israel.
Prior to the speeches, chants reverberated through the streets as BCL leaders rallied, advocating slogans such as "Free Palestine-Stop Genocide" and "From the river to the sea-Palestine will be free."
Simultaneously, leaders and activists from Bogura Government College Chhatra League echoed similar sentiments, underscoring the collective resolve to champion the cause of Palestinian independence.
