BCG recovers 50 kg venison

Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) members recovered fifty kg venison, three deer skin and a deer's head from Choto Kumrakathi canal area under Dacope Police Station of Khulna on Thursday.  A patrol team of Coast Guard West Zone, BCG station Nalian rescued  venison, conducting a raid based on secret information. 

Detective Officer of Bangladesh Coast Guard West Zone, Lieutenant Abdullah-Al-Mahmud, said hunters illegally kill deer from different points of the Sundarbans and sell deer meat. The recored  flesh, skin and head of the deer was handed over to Shibsha Forest Office.
