A circular signed by Acting Registrar Md Helal Uddin and published on June 29 formalised the change. The new Taka 5 lac

budget includes Taka 3,200 set aside for an annual research progress workshop.

According to the notification, the order follows decision no 10 of the Finance Committee’s second session, held on May 15 for the 2024–25 fiscal year, and decision no 4 of the 328th Syndicate meeting on May 18.

With this increase, BAU aims to encourage new research and give clear support to doctoral scholars over the next three years
