BASIS SoftExpo begins February 6

With the slogan of ‘Transforming Life Through Innovation’, BASIS SoftExpo 2020 is scheduled to be held from February 6-9, at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). The 4-day event will be a congregation of ICT companies, personalities, key policymakers, industry leaders and other ICT stakeholders. President Md. Abdul Hamid will inaugurate BASIS SoftExpo on 6 February, 2020.

Besides, Industries Minister , Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, Minister of Post and Telecommunications Division, Mustafa Jabbar and Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology, N M Ziaul Alam will be present as the Special Guest. In this regard, a Press Conference was organized earlier today.

At the Press Conference BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, Senior Vice President Farhana A Rahman, Vice President (Admin) Shoeb Ahmed Masud, Vice President (Finance) & BASIS SoftExpo 2020’s Convener Mushfiqur Rahman, Director Tamzid Siddiq Spondon and Director Didarul Alam.

At the Press Conference, BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir expressed his hopes regarding SoftExpo 2020. He said BASIS SoftExpo will help the local IT companies to expand their businesses. 300 exhibitors will participate this year.

BASIS SoftExpo’s Convener & BASIS Vice President (Finance) Mushfiqur Rahman said, BASIS SoftExpo 2020 has been divided into 10 individual zones. Industry 4.0 Zone, Experience Zone will uplift Bangladesh’s ICT Sector growth & development.
