BASIS, a2i arrange innovation challenge boot camp

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and A2I (Aspire to Innovate) of the ICT Division have jointly arranged a Bootcamp on the titled of 'Traceability Innovation Challenge 2022' on Wednesday at BASIS Auditorium in the capital.   

At the program, AKM Ahmedul Islam Babu, Director of BASIS, Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Project Director of A2I (Joint Secretary), Nayeem Ashrafi, Head of a2i's Innovation Fund, Abu Shaleh Md. Mahfuzul Alam, Consultant and many others were also present.  

Abu Shaleh Md. Mahfuzul Alam, said, “Blockchain technology for Bangladesh is a step toward complete modernization and improving the quality of business. With Blockchain the leather and food processing industry or any other industrial sector can completely modify itself for better export opportunities.”  “Export is important to modern economies as they play a core function in diplomacy and foreign policy between governments. Recently, it has been felt that foreign buyers and brands are demanding to integrate traceability technology such as Blockchain with the existing supply chain to retain data transparency across the value chain,” he added.
