Bashundhara LP Gas Limited will work with Jamuna Oil Company Limited, a subsidiary of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, to expand the market for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the country.
An agreement was recently signed at a function held at JamunaBhaban. Md. GiasUddinAnchari, Managing Director of Jamuna Oil Company and Zakaria Jalal, Head of Sales of Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of Jamuna Oil Company Limited.
Autogas or LPG is extremely popular and acclaimed around the world as an environmentally friendly fuel. Through this agreement, Bashundhara LPG will be able to ensure quick entry of environmentally friendly fuel LPG for use in vehicles across the country.
Managing Director ofJamuna Oil Company, Md. GiasUddinAncharisaid, ‘Autogas as a vehicle fuel is already very popular around the world as an environmentally friendly fuel. Through this agreement, Bashundhara LPG will be able to ensure fast access to environmentally friendly fuels for use in vehicles across the country.
Bashundhara LP Gas Head of Sales Zakaria Jalal said Bashundhara LP Gas highlighted the current LPG import, storage, cylinder manufacturing and supply capacity.
He said, ‘The signing of the agreement of Bashundhara LP Gas with Jamuna Oil Company, the largest company in the LPG industry, will be a milestone. Under the agreement, the two sides will work together to market internationally recognized and safer autogas as opposed to Bangladesh's traditional fuel. The way Bashundhara has been working in product diversification and marketing, Bashundhara will also maintain its excellence in the autogas sector.
