Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) has donated an Ambulance to the Prime Minister’s humanitarian program on Thursday.
Senior leaders of the organization handed over the ambulance to the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister at Prime Minister’s office in a simple ceremony.
Abdul Haque, President, BARVIDA, Mohammed Shahidul Islam, Secretary General and Md. Saiful Islam (Somrat), Vice-President of BARVIDA were present.
BARVIDA has been contributing lion's share in the country's transport sector by supplying vehicles over the last more than 3 decades. Currently, around 900 enterprises under the BARVIDA membership are in operations across the country.
The total investment in this sector is several thousands of crore taka. The enlisted BARVIDA member companies pay several thousands of crore taka as revenue to the Government in a year.
