Work on the film ‘Dhaka Dream’ started in 2016 with the recording of songs by renowned flutist and singer Bari Siddiqui. Although the recording of the song was completed, the artist passed away the following year. The last song sung by Bari Siddiqui in the film has been released on July 22 in 5 apps including the YouTube channel of Bangladhol, the content partner of the film.

Kumar Bishwojit has arranged the melody and music of the song. The song is available on YouTube as well as Banglaflix, Robiscreen, Airtelscreen, Teleflix and BDflix Live.

Popular musician Kumar Bishwojit said, “Bari Siddiqui used to call me Mama. Most of my songs have his flute tunes, I also sang to his tune. I wanted him to sing at least one song to my tune. This is that song. He was supposed to sing another song to my tune. But it did not happen. That song was sung by his daughter Elma.”

Proshoon Rahman, the director of ‘Dhaka Dream’ said the film was dedicated to Bari Siddiqui’s memory.
