At least 85 barbers received food items from government relief fund under the auspices of Upazila Nirbahi Office of Chuadanga Sadar on April 4.
According to sources the barbers shut down their hair cutting shops after declaration of shutting down shops by the government in the district town. For this reason they abstained their works and no income of them.
The barbers appeared at Rahela Khatun Girls High School in the town. Rice, soabyn oil, dal, shops were given them through a function. Nazrul Islam Sarker, DC, Jahidul Islam, SP, Sadekur Rahman, UNO of Sadar upazila and Obaidur Rahman Chowdhury Jipu, Mayor of Chuadanga Pourasabha were present at relief distribution function.
