A discussion meeting and iftar mahfil on determining the strategy of the movement in view of the current situation of Baral River and canals was organized by the Baral River Protection Movement Committee at Chatmohar in Pabna on Wednesday evening.

President of Chatmohar Press Club Daily Chalanbil Editor Rakibur Rahman Tukun, Former President and Editor of Daily Baral Helalur Rahman Jewel, Weekly Chatmohar News Editor SM Habibur Rahman, Former Women Vice Chairman Rokeya Azad, Awami League Leader Shamsuzzoha, Upazila Juba League President Sajedur Rahman. Ranju, MA Jinnah, KM Belal Hossain Swapan, Masud Rana and others spoke at the event.
CPB Pabna District President Santosh Roy Chowdhury, Principal Abdur Rahim Kalu, Chaiful Islam, Joydev Kundu, Hardo's Executive Director Jahangir Alam Madhu, journalist Shamim Hasan Milon, Jahangir Alam and many others were present.
At the meeting, it was decided to hold a commemorative meeting of Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya and the election of the convener of Baral Raksha Andolan and to continue the movement to stop the pollution of Baral's possession.
