Popular singer and composer Bappa Mazumdar has brought back his famous song ‘Brishti Pore’ after 25 years with a new touch and an AI-generated music video. The song was originally released in 2000 as part of his band Dalchhut’s second album ‘Hridoypur’, which also featured hits like ‘Gari Chole Na’ and ‘Tomakei Bole Debo’. These songs are still loved by fans today.

The new version of ‘Brishti Pore’ was released on Tuesday night on Bappa’s official YouTube channel. The lyrics are by Sheikh Rana, while Bappa himself composed the tune. The video was created using artificial intelligence by Ahad Antor, giving it a modern and visually creative style.

Speaking about the song, Bappa said, “Monsoon is my favourite season. I wanted to release this version at the end of the monsoon. Please don’t compare it with the original. For those who prefer the old version, it is still there to enjoy.”

In this latest release, Bappa has made some changes to the melody, making it a fresh listening experience. While some listeners say the original version still holds more charm, many others believe the new arrangement is also enjoyable in its own way.

The use of AI in making music videos is becoming popular in recent times, as it helps reduce high production costs. Bappa himself has experimented with this technology before. In June, he released another AI-made music video for his song ‘Agamikaal’.

With this re-release, Bappa has shown how classic songs can be brought back to life in a new style while keeping their emotional connection with listeners. Fans can now enjoy both the nostalgic original and the modern reimagined version of ‘Brishti Pore’.
