Police arrested a leader of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League leader in Cumilla South on Friday.
According to Cumilla DB Police sources, Minhajul Hasan Rafi , Cumilla South District Chhatra League President was arrested in a special operation conducted by DB Police and local Feni Police Station based on secret information.
It is learned that he secretly returned to Cumilla from Kolkata, India and was staying in Feni. Four cases of anti-discrimination student movement have been filed against him, said the police, confirming the matter, Cumilla DB Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abdullah.
