Bank Asia distributed free Reaper Machines to farmers as a support to overcome labor crisis due to current COVID-19 pandemic. To support the farmers, a fund was raised by the donation of Bank’s officials.
A total of 6 Reaper Machines were distributed among the farmers of Rajshahi and Naogaon District on 30 April 2020, at Mondumala, Rajshahi. Each Reaper machine is able to harvest the crops of Three Bigha in an hour.
Sushanto Kumar Mahato, UNO of Tanor Upazila, Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, UNO of Naogaon Sadar Upazila, Mr. Ekram Hossain, Manager of Rajshahi Branch & Mr. Firoz Kabir, Manager of Mohadevpur Branch of Bank Asia were present at the program.
Mentionable that farmers are suffering from harvesting theirs crops due to labor crisis. This initiative is a support from Bank Asia for the farmers.
