Bank Asia, a leading private sector bank of the country has opened it’s Agent Banking Branch at Banshkhali Municipality area in Chittagong.
Freedom fighter Selimul Haque Chowdhury, Mayor of Banshkhali Municipality presided over the inauguration ceremony at the Banshkhali Municipality office premises on Tuesday while Salma Rahman, Zonal Head FVP, Agent Banking, Bank Asia was present as the Chief Guest.
While addressing the inaugural ceremony, speakers said, online and agent banking services are a part of that digital Bangladesh. Through this agent banking initiatives of Bank Asia, the general public in remote areas will be able to transact loans, savings and money easily and effortlessly at any bank in any part of the country or abroad.
