Banglalink employees donate one-day salary to aid 21,000 families

Banglalink employees have donated their one-day salary for the second phase of Banglalink's relief campaign during the Covid-19 outbreak. As a socially responsible corporate organization, Banglalink has also made financial contributions to the relief campaign. 

Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Bangladesh Army will support Banglalink to distribute the relief among 21,000 severely affected households. 

Erik Aas, Chief Executive Officer, Banglalink made an announcement on the initiative at a virtual meeting, which was also participated by Chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha Major General Sajjadul Haque, DG of Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha Brig Gen. Ohidul Alam Chowdhury. Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer of Banglalink Taimur Rahman, and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of Banglalink Muniruzzaman Sheikh. 

Major General Sajjadul Haque, Chairman, Sena Kalyan Sangstha said, "During this difficult time, we need to stay united and work in collaboration to ensure the social security of the economically affected communities. Banglalink and its employees have shown its commitment to serving the society once again by taking this initiative. We are pleased to partner with Banglalink for this noble cause."

Banglalink employees are also strongly committed to supporting the communities in the country, and they have come forward with significant individual contributions to lend a helping hand during this challenging time.

Banglalink distributed relief materials among 14,500 households in the first phase of its relief campaign during the Covid-19 outbreak in April and May, 2020.
