Banglalink completes ‘Learn from the startups’ programme

Banglalink has completed the current seasonof "Learn from the startups", a program designed to give undergraduate students an opportunity to work with and learn from the top startups in the country. 

The program ended on Thursday with an interactive virtual session attended by Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, Banglalink,Professor Dr Abu Md. Delwar Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Dhaka, Md. Rashedur Rahman, Associate Professor, Department of Organization Strategy & Leadership, University of Dhaka, Syed Naimul Hossain, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer, Teach It, and a number of top executives of Banglalink. Launched back in 2019, the program has been providing enthusiastic students with an exposure to the startup scenario and a chance to enhance their own skills.

Tech entrepreneurs of Teach It, an e-learning based startup and one of the participants of Banglalink IT Incubator, shared their first-hand experiences with the students through the virtual program. Banglalink collaborated with the Dhaka University Career Club this year, and the interested members of the club took part in the program forming teams consisting of four members each.

Following three webinar sessions on idea generation, design thinking, business canvas building, operational process, digital launching, etc., the virtual program ended with the final session comprising the presentations prepared by the participants and a closing ceremony.

Monzula Morshed, Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, Banglalink said, "We have been running a number of programs to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of promising youngsters. While ‘Learn from the startups’ gives students an exposure to the startup scenario, ‘Ennovators’ provides them with opportunities to come up with innovative digital ideas to solve social problems of Bangladesh. "
