Mahmudul Hasan Faisal, a free-style footballer from Magura, set  record in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Fourth time.  The Guinness Book of World Records has recognized his new record for throwing a football around his neck 66 times in a minute. This is his fourth Guinness World Record.

At the end of 2016, turning a football into two hands 134 times in one minute he entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the first time. His second world record was for swinging a basketball 144 times in 60 seconds in the beginning of 2019. In that same year he set his third world record by throwing a basketball around his neck 34 times a minute.

Faisal said the current record was held by Ben Nutttal, citizen of United Kingdom earlier. He set that record by throwing a football 62 times over his neck in 1 minute.

However, by doing that 4 more times than Ben, Faisal got the recognition of this new record.  On December 21 last year, at Baridhara  area in Dhaka, the authority of Guinness Book of World Records recorded Faisal's footballing prowess. For which an acknowledgment certificate was sent via an email on Thursday night.

Faisal, son of retired Army member Sohel Rana, a resident of Hajipur village in Magura Sadar Upazila, is a 5th year student in the Mechanics Department of Magura Polytechnic Institute. Faisal's desire is to set new records in the future as well as to take part in the International Freestyle Football Championship and gain pride for Bangladesh in the world stage. For this, he is continuing to practice hard.

Faisal said, he had a passion for sports since childhood. His desire was to be a good footballer or cricketer. He has made efforts for this purpose. But it did not bring the desired success. That is why, the idea of becoming a freestyle footballer came to his mind from the desire to do something exceptional.

To this end, he started practicing in the middle of 2015 to bring various techniques of football to his home yard and local field. After 12 to 14 hours of hard practice a day in just one year in August 2016, he succeeded.

Faisal said, not just setting new records, he dreams of performing all kinds of freestyle football in the future. He wished to take part in the International Freestyle Football Championship and bring fame to the country.
