Silent Scream 2, a horror-adventure puzzle game developed by Studio 23, will be featured at the Game Industry Conference (GIC) in Poland from October 24 to 27.
This annual event offers indie developers a chance to pitch their games to potential publishers and investors. It coincides with the Poznan Game Arena, one of Europe’s largest gaming expos, which attracted over 79,300 visitors last year.
Set in a mysterious castle, Silent Scream 2 follows writer John and six strangers as they solve puzzles to survive. The game, described as a "love letter to the survival horror genre," draws inspiration from interactive horror titles.
Studio 23, based in Dhaka, has previously released smaller projects, including Silent Scream 1 and Control Override. Control Override became the first Bangladeshi game self-published on Xbox, achieving over 19,000 downloads on Steam with minimal marketing.
With a team of ten, Studio 23 aims to secure a major publishing partnership to enhance Silent Scream 2 and reach a wider audience. The game is set for a public demo release in late October and will be released episodically, with eight episodes planned.
