Bangladesh Under-23 Cricket team will take on their Indian counterpart in the fourth-match of the five-match one-day series on Wednesday at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, reports BSS.

With 2-1 behind the series, the match is important for the visitors to keep the series alive. A win of India U23 means they would seal the series with a match to go.

So Bangladesh couldn’t afford to be relaxed on the eve of the crucial game.

Bangladesh made a disappointing start to the series, losing the first match by 34 runs. They however came back into the series strongly with a thrilling 5-run win over the hosts in the second match as per D/L method.

The third match also decided by D/L method but this time India laughed the last, beating Bangladesh by 49 runs.

In the recent time, Bangladesh however couldn’t win against India in any level of cricket apart from just rare victory in some inconsequential matches. So it’s the chance for the Under-23 team to change the fortune as they showed their capability to hold the nerve in crunch moment when they beat India by 5 runs in the second match.
