Bangladesh national football team will take part in Tri Nation Cup in March FIFA window in Sylhet. Apart from host Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam and Seychelles will take part in the Tri Nation Cup, said Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, National Teams Committee (NTC) chairman and Bangladesh Football Federation's (BFF) vice-president on Monday.
"We had a national teams committee's meeting today (Monday) and had discussion regarding Tri-Nation Cup. We'll organize a Tri-Nation Cup in March FIFA window in Sylhet where Brunei Darussalam and Seychelles will come to play in the tournament. Three matches will be held and we're preparing to organize the tournament. Sylhet have been picked up to host the tournament and letter has been sent to FIFA for approval," Nabil said after the meeting.
The NTC's chairman said camp of the national football team will be called soon after the end of first phase of ongoing Bangladesh Premier League.
BFF's president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin attended the meeting.
National football team's head coach Javier Cabrera and members of the national teams committee were also present in the meeting.
