Bangladesh sink Oman

The Bangladesh team has made a great start in the Sixes tournament in Hong Kong. Zeesan-Saifuddin defeated Oman by 34 runs in their first match of the tournament.

Bangladesh scored 147 runs without losing any wicket after batting first in the six-over format match. Zeeshan Alam and Yasir Ali Rabbi entered the field for Bangladesh in the opening. Both the batsmen started scoring runs quickly. Zeeshan scored a brilliant 55 off 12 balls with one four and eight sixes, forcing him to retire Hart as per tournament rules. His partner Yasir Ali scored 26 off 9 balls. Later, Saifuddin scored 55 runs off 12 balls with the help of three fours and seven sixes.

With a target of 147 runs, Oman managed 113 runs despite playing six overs. Binayak Shukla scored maximum 29 runs off 8 balls for Oman. In bowling for Bangladesh, Zeeshan Alam took two wickets with 12 runs in 1 over. Apart from this, Saifuddin, Sohag Gazi and Abu Haider Roni took one wicket each.
