The second and last warm-up game of Bangladesh for the upcoming T20 World Cup was washed out without a ball being bowled at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Bangladesh's opponent in this match was South Africa but now the Tigers will head to the cricket's showpiece event with just one warm-up game under their belt.

The Tigers lost the first warm-up game to Afghanistan by 62-run margin. It meant, Bangladesh will go into the World Cup with five-match losing streak, having been outclassed in all of their four matches in the tri-nation series in New Zealand.

Bangladesh however will play their first match in the World Cup on October 24, against the runners-up of Group A, a group which consisted with Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Namibia and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Apart from UAE, all of the three teams are in contention to go to the main round.

Bangladesh didn't win any match in the main round of the T20 World Cup since their only victory against West Indies in the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2007.
