Those who are responsible for peace in the world's edge under the United Nations peacekeeping mission, are known as carrier of ‘Blue Helmets'. The UN Peacekeepers' syllable 'Blue Helmet' is established on the basis of the Convention that was enacted at the Hague Conference for the peaceful resolution of international crises.

UN peacekeepers come from different ethnic groups.  The only goal of these peacekeepers of different cultures and languages is to protect the endangered human race, and co-operate with countries on the path to peace from violence. Bangladesh is one of the largest donors of peacekeepers to UN peacekeeping missions and has been playing an important role in the organisation since it became a member of the United Nations on 16 September 1974.
