Bangladesh Post’s Nabiganj Correspondent dies

Mijanur Rahman Sohel, Nabiganj Correspondent of Bangladesh Post, died at his house at Nabiganj in Habiganj in the early hours on Friday. He was only 25. He had been suffering Liver Cirrhosis disease for a long time. 

His namaz-e-janaza was held after Jumma prayers at Jame Mosque of Aushkandi village at 2:30pm on Friday. Later, he was buried. 

Sohel is the son of late Motlib Mia of Aushkandi village under Aushkandi union of Nabiganj upazila.

Editor-In-Chief of Bangladesh Post Sharif Shahab Uddin expressed deep shock at the death of Mijanur Rahman Sohel. He conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.    

MP from Habiganj-1 constituency Gazi Mohammad Shahnewaj Milad, formed MP Sheikh Sujat Mia, Abdul Munim Chowdhury Babu, Chairman of Upazila Parishad Fazlul Haque Chowdhury Selim, Advocate Alamgir Chowdhury, Nabiganj Municipal Mayor Sabir Ahmed Chowdhury, Central Jubo League member Abdul Mukit Chowdhury, former president of Nabiganj Press Club S R Chowdhury Selim journalists of Nabiganj also expressed their deep shock at the death of Mijanur Rahman Sohel.
