Bangladesh MP failed to win Inter-Parliamentary CWC

The Bangladesh Parliamentarian Cricket team failed to cross the last hurdle as they lost to their Pakistani counterpart by nine wickets in the Inter-Parliamentary Cricket World Cup (IPCWC) in Kent’s Beckenham’s Cricket Club field on Friday, report agencies.

Bangladesh scored 104-8 in allotted 20 overs but that hardly looked enough as their opponent Pakistan reached 105-1 in 12 

overs to take a sweet revenge of their 12-run defeat in the group stage.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh stormed into the final beating hosts England by 37 runs at the same ground. 

Pakistan however beat Afghanistan by eight wickets to romp to the final.

Bangladesh scored 183-5 in the stipulated 20-over before they restricted England to 146-9 to complete a facile victory. 

Members of Parliament, Bangladesh advanced to the semi-final in undefeated way. They had beaten Pakistan in their first match by 12 runs on Wednesday at Burlington Gardens, Chiswick in London. Later in second match they crushed All Stars by 20 runs Thursday. 

The MPs however will watch the World Cup final between England and New Zealand, alongside British Prime Minister Theresa May, at Lord’s in London Sunday.
