Bangladesh, Japan firms hold virtual B2B meet for trade match

An on-line business matching event between Bangladeshi companies and Japanese firms is going on aiming to explore new business match among the investors of both the countrys.

The long 17 day event was formally inaugurated on May 24 and will continue up to June11. 

Thirty leading Bangladeshi companies are participating in the program. It is expected that Bangladeshi companies will interact in over 309 B2B meetings with the Japanese firms during the 17 days long program.

United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO),Tokyo has organised the program with the support of Bangladesh Embassy in Japan and Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JBCCI). 

HAISON International, an investor advisory firm of Bangladesh is coordinating the program.

During the event the Bangladesh companies will introduce their company by their own for partnership with the participating Japanese companies in the areas of infrastructure, real estate, construction, special economic zone, container terminal, logistics, freight forwarding, cargo ship, dredging, plastic recycling, auto parts, renewables  energy, home appliances,  leasing of industrial land & building, internet services, IT engineering, health services, medical devices, chemicals, textiles  & specialised apparels, business support, audit, accounting & taxation, general insurance, food and agro processing.
