Bangladesh have made it to the finals of the men's team event in Stage 1 of the Asia Cup World Ranking Competition yesterday. Bangladesh's Archer defeated Malaysia in the semifinals in Clark City, Philippines. They won 3-1 set points.
Earlier, Roman Sana, Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel had won the quarterfinals in the same margin. In quarter finals, their opponent was Thailand. However, Bangladesh lost in the recurve mixed team event. They lost to China in the semifinals by 3-5 sets. In the quarter-finals, however, the Red-Green won against Thailand by 3-1 set points. Bangladesh will face Chinese Taipei on Friday in the third place match of the recurve mixed team event.
