Bangladesh and Ghana will work together to build a technology-based innovation and entrepreneurial culture to move ahead with the developed world in the digital economy.
They reached an agreement on this during a meeting with the Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Ghana's Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ikuful, at the Front Expo and Exhibition Center in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
At the same time, they emphasized on technology-based innovation, knowledge-sharing and research between the two countries regarding innovations and startups in the information technology sector. The two ministers also discussed in detail the latest developments in the ICT sector of their respective countries.
The Minister of State also interacted with the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of Nigeria, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim, ICT Ministers of various countries participating in the event, and various leading technology entrepreneurs, researchers and scientists from Saudi Arabia and the world.
Ambassador of Bangladesh appointed to Saudi Arabia in the meeting. Mohammad Javed Patwari and related officials of Ghana and Bangladesh were present.
