Bangladesh women and their Indian counterparts are set to face off each other in the third ODI, which turned into a final match after both sides won one each and the series came to standstill on 1-1.
The series decider match will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla national Cricket Stadium today at 9:30 am.
Bangladesh, led by Nigar Sultana Joty started their campaign with a historic ODI victory against India by 40 runs in the series opener, which was their maiden ODI victory against India in their previous six encounters.
Tigresses though failed to win the second match, must be the first match win will be a huge inspiration for them and will recollect the momentum to bounce back in the today’s series decider match.
The Indian women, one of the strong sides in the World Women cricket had also struggled to win their T20 series against Bangladesh when the hosts won one and lost one match just lack of experiences but for the visitors it was stiff hurdle to grab the series by 2-1.
However, it can predicted that the team will bat first should again be able to come up trumps. Batting would not get easier and the chasing team is likely to find it much tougher to adjust to the conditions and opposition bowling.
In the last week, the weather was cloudy, and also interrupted the first match but according to the forecast, tomorrow it might be a sunny day and there is a minimum chance to rain and the match will take place on the pitch, has been pretty low and slow thus far.
