Bangladesh has strongly condemned the recent missile attacks targeting Riyadh and the southern city of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jazan by the Houthi rebels, reports UNB.
The attacks that took place on March 28, however, were intercepted and destroyed by the Royal Saudi Air defence forces before hitting targets.
Such unprovoked acts by the Houthi rebels undermined the peace and security in the region, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
Bangladesh expressed solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of such aggression and conveys its support to the Kingdom in their effortsto bring about lasting peace and stability in the region.
