The Bangladesh Coast Guard carried out a free medical care and supply distribution campaign in Kandipara, Munshiganj, on Thursday. Lieutenant Siam-ul-Haq, media officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, shared this information in a press release.

Thursday morning, 428 impoverished residents—including children—under the jurisdiction of Munshiganj District's Louhajong Police Station received supplies and critical medical care from the Coast Guard Dhaka Zone.

This initiative is part of the Coast Guard’s ongoing efforts to support the health and welfare of poor and low-income communities in coastal and Char regions.

Surgeon Lt. Commander Ahmed Rifat Tahmid, AMC, and Surgeon Lt. Jannatul Ferdous, AMC, were present at the event, offering their expertise and care to those in need.

The Bangladesh Coast Guard remains committed to meeting the diverse needs of these vulnerable populations through continuous medical campaigns.
