Bangladesh Army in Bogura has conducted a relief distribution ceremony on Thursday. Under the guidance of Army high command, relief items as gifts were distributed among 293 families in the district ahead of Eid. To combat the pandemic caused by Covid-19, Bangladesh Army conduced such humanitarian programme in Bogura town at Jahangirabad Cantonment.
Brigadier General ASM Bahauddin of 11th Artillery Brigade in Jahangirabad Cantonment at 11 am on Thursday preside the relief distribution programme. Relief and gift items were distributed among distressed families in the area.
Meanwhile, relief were distributed among 220 families of Shahjahanpur upazila by Army officials. At the same time, 50 families at Birgram union also received relief items.
Each families at the programme received 10 kilo rice, 2 kilo wheat, 2 kilo potetos, 1 kilo onion, 1 litre od oil, 1.5 kilo of sugar, 1.5 kilo of lentil, 1 kilo salt and sweet items.
Officials of 11th Artillery Brigade were present at the programmes. Officials after the relief distribution ceremony said such relief distribution works will be continued.
