The relentless rain forced the second and final four-day match between Bangladesh High Performance Team and Sri Lanka HP end in a draw on Friday at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar, report BSS.
The first four-day game between the two sides also ended in a draw, making the series result 0-0 before Sri Lanka HP won the three-match one-day series by 2-1.
However, the fourth and final day of the second four-day was called off without a ball being bowled on Friday.
Earlier, Afif Hossain hit a century as Bangladesh HP team reached 208-3 on the rain-interrupted third day. Afif made an unbeaten 100 while Nazmul Hossain Shanto was on 88.
The first day of the match was washed out while only 23 overs play was possible for the second day.
The third day was also marred by rain and 43 overs were possible.
