Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan left Dhaka for Japan on Friday for an official visit along with his spouse and three entourage on an invitation of Tsuchimoto Hideki, Commissioner of the Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency, Ministry of Defense, Japan.
During the visit, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will make a courtesy call with Chief of Staff of Japan Air Self Defence Force (JASDF) General Izutsu and Commissioner of Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency (ATLA) of Ministry of Defence of Japan Tsuchimoto Hideki. They will exchange views on bilateral issues of mutual interests. Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will visit MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (MELCO) and KAWASAKI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (KHI) which produce heavy equipment, engine, aerospace and defence materials. It is expected that the visit of Chief of Air Staff will play a significant role in strengthening relationship between Japan and Bangladesh.
