Bangladesh, Afghanistan play 1-1 draw the 2nd FIFA friendly

Bangladesh national football team coming from a goal down made one all draw with Afghanistan in their second FIFA international friendly match on Thursday.

Held at the Bashundhara Kings Arena, JabarSharza led Afghanistan in the 52nd minuteShekhMorsalin levelled the margin 10 minutes latter.

Bangladesh, who enjoyed better possessions throughout 90 minutes time, had almost fulldomination in the second half and also created some clear scoring chances but failed to capitalize the opportunities.

After a goalless opening 45 minutes game, Bangladesh conceded the goal against the run of the match when Afghan number nine headed home a corner closely to the goal line giving no chance the goalkeeper AnisurRahkman to save  on 52nd.

Bangladesh after conceding the goal went on more attacking approach and just forced the opponents to be defensive.Morsalin, the youngster, who played only six international matches,scored his third goal with a superb placing shot when Bisawnath Ghosh provided a right side cross inside the area on 62nd minute (1-1).

Bangladesh deserved to win the match by margin if efforts from Jamal Bhuiyan and Rakib were not denied by the defenders. 

Jamal’s first attempt on 60th minute narrowly missed the cross and on 68thminute his low shot was just saved from the goal-line.

However, Bashundhara Kings, hosted two international matches with Afghanistan and Bangladesh played the FIFA friendly matches and both the matches ended on draw with first match for goalless and the second one on Thursday was ended on 1-1.
