Bangladesh A’s tour of Afghanistan has been postponed on Sunday by the Afghan Board due to the financial crisis.
Mohammad Mithun-led side were supposed to play two four-deer and three one-day games in the UAE. However, the host nation has decided to step away from arranging the series.
Bangladesh A last toured West Indies for a two four-dayers and three one-day matches in July. As per the schedule, they were set to host India following the Afghan tour.
Along with Mithun, former Test captain Mominul Haque, Tamim Iqbal, Shadman Islam, Soumya Sarkar and Saif Hassan are the other big names in the A squad.
The cricketers will start preparing for the National Cricket League (NCL) starting from October 10 as the series against Afghanistan has been delayed.
