Radwan Mujib Siddiq, a grandson of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and trustee of the Awami League’s Centre for Research and Information, has asked all to wear masks to prevent Covid19 infection.

"It's very surprising to see so many photos of people without masks, huddling together, often indoors, at meetings, parties, conferences, family gatherings, hang-outs etc etc," he said in a Facebook post.
"Government officials, politicians, diplomats, international organisation staff, aid workers, NGO personnel, entertainers, private sector employees - the list goes on.
"Too many people are acting as if the pandemic is over. But it's really not.

"The science is irrefutable when it comes to wearing masks and keeping a minimum distance away from people where possible - so why not follow it?" read the post.

The pandemic virus has claimed 7,531 lives and infected 512,496 people in Bangladesh as of Wednesday.
