A joyous rally has been held on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence. The rally was held in front of the Muktijoddha Command Council on Bangabandhu Road in Munshiganj on Thursday afternoon.
Advocate Mrinal Kanti Das, Member of Parliament for Munshiganj-3 constituency and Secretary for Freedom Fighters of Central Awami League was present as the chief guest at the rally. District Krishak League President Mohsin Makhan presided over the function. Former Upazila Chairman and District Freedom Fighter Commander Mohammad Hossain Babul, former General Secretary of City Awami League Mahatab Uddin Kallol, District Sechchasebak League President Al Mahmud Babu, former student leader Advocate Golam Mawla Tapan, former District BCL President and Central Juba League member Asaduzzaman Sumon, Bir Muktijoddha Shafiuddin Ahmed, Amra Muktijudar Santan District President Jalal Uddin Rumi Rajan, central BCL leader Apan Das, former VP Moazzem Hossain, chairmen of different unions of Sadar and Gazaria upazilas, leaders of Awami League and its affiliated organizations leaders spoke on the occasion.
