Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's book 'Osomapto Attojiboni' has been translated into 'Kakbarak', the mother tongue of Tripura ethnic group in Bangladesh.

The translated book has been named into ‘Paithakaya Langma’ in Kakbarak which means Unfinished Memoirs.

The manuscript was translated by Yuvraj Devbarma, former student of Comilla University Anthropology department.

Devbarma is excited to complete the translation of the manuscript of the father of the nation’s book. He thinks that his Moribund mother tongue can be enriched through the publication. He said, to keep my language alive, I wanted to do something on behalf of my tribal community after PM Sheikh Hasina had announced the Mujib Year in 2020 on the occasion of Mujib’s birth centenary.

Devbarma spent two years to do the job. The book will be published soon. He said that he had contacted to the curator of Bangabandhu Memorial Trust Nazrul Islam Khan about the publication of the book. Nazrul Islam said, we asked him to check his translation by some specialists. We will try to publish it if we get positive response.
