Bangabandhu Natya Ursab was held in Jhenaidah marking the 103rd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Jhenaidah Shishu Kishore Natyadal and Ankur Natya Academy with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs jointly organized the programme at Jhenaidah Press Club a on Friday evening. Huge audiences enjoyed the festival till midnight.
Presided over by Jhenaidah Shishu Kishore Natyadal president Joynal Abedin, Jhenaidah municipality mayor Qayum Shahrier Zahedi Hizol attended the event as the chief guest.
Facilitated by Jhenaidah Shishu Kishore Natyadal general secretary Mir Abdul Mannan, Jhenaidah press club president M Raihan, Bangabandhu Shishu-Kishore Mela Khulna divisional organizing secretary Raju Ahmed Mizan and Ankur Natya Academy general secretary Nazim Uddin Julias attended as special guests.
Later Hridoye Bangabandhu, Shahid Rasel, Khuni Mustaque and Amaar Bari Tungipara dramas were staged on the venue. Ankur Natya Academy, Jhenaidah technical school and college, Jhenaidah Shishu Kishore Natyadal and Heaven International school teams participated in the drama competition.
