Speaking on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the traditional Nagmud Bazar K I Fazil (Degree) Madrasa organized by Nagmud Madrasa Alumni Association in Ramganj of Laxmipur district, MP of Laxmipar-1 Ramganj constituency Dr. Anwar Hossain Khan has announced that a medical college named after Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be set up in Ramganj soon.
He said the Bangabandhu Medical College would be set up on his own initiative at the private level to hold the Father of the Nation in everyone's heart. He mentioned in his speech that he will start its work soon. He has also taken official approval in this regard. In this, the meritorious students of the area will get the opportunity to serve the people of the country by becoming doctors. It was presided over by Maulana Safiqul Islam, a former student of the Madrasa and presided over by Engineer Golam Rahman Rajib.
