The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB)'s media studies and journalism department, through its apprenticeship programme Shutterbugs, launched the photography exhibition "Bangabandhu in Sculptures and Murals" in the capital Thursday.
Thirty-five selected photographs are being displayed, showcasing the sculptures and murals captured by Shutterbugs members from the various districts of the country.
Ekushey Padak winning photographer Pavel Rahman inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest.
ULAB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Imran Rahman and Pro-VC Professor Dr Shamsad Mortuza were also present.
"People remember Bangabandhu as the founding president of our country. However, he lived an unimaginably simple life. He avoided the usual luxurious lifestyle and always preferred vintage Bengali things and customs because he passionately loved the people, our country and everything in it," said Pavel.
